SLB is seeking a detail-oriented Materials Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma . In this role, you will support the availability and movement of materials required for operations by ensuring effective inventory management and reliable warehouse support. You will play an important role in maintaining material readiness while supporting operational continuity across the assigned location. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, maintains high standards of safety and organization, and continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to operational performance through inventory optimization, process discipline, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Roles and Responsibilities Execute warehouse activities including receiving, issuing, storing, transferring, and disposing of materials. Maintain accurate inventory records through timely processing of transactions in the Warehouse Management System. Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, discrepancy investigations, and adjustment reporting. Review inventory exceptions and resolve data integrity issues across warehouse systems. Support initiatives to reduce excess, aging, and slow-moving inventory. Coordinate material transfers while ensuring compliance with quality requirements. Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies such as 5S, Kanban, and Kitting. Participate in audits and self-assessments to ensure compliance with SLB standards. Qualifications and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, logistics, inventory control, or materials management. Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory transactions. Knowledge of inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, and material handling practices. Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies is an asset. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Ability to work Second Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM). .
