Aligned with the EMEA Data Center strategy, you will develop and expand relationships with consulting engineers, design-build contractors, hyperscalers, and colocation operators across Spain and the wider region. Your mission will be to drive business growth within the data center market by leveraging Johnson Controls' industry-leading Fire Detection & Suppression solutions, while promoting the broader portfolio of building technologies and digital solutions. You are a proactive and results-oriented sales professional with a hunter mindset, capable of building trusted customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. In this role, you will position Johnson Controls as the preferred partner for fire protection solutions within the data center sector, influencing specifications, increasing account penetration, and driving sustainable growth. You will work closely with regional and local teams across EMEA to maximize pipeline generation, order intake, and customer satisfaction while consistently achieving sales targets. LOCATION: Spain How you will do it? Develop strategic relationships with consulting engineers, design-build contractors, hyperscalers, colocation operators, and other key stakeholders within assigned accounts. Create, execute, and continuously refine Account Plans to expand market share, grow pipeline opportunities, and increase customer penetration. Build trusted advisor relationships with customers by understanding their business objectives, challenges, and technical requirements. Influence basis of design (BoD) and project specifications to position Johnson Controls Fire Detection & Suppression solutions as the preferred choice. Conduct technical and commercial presentations, positioning yourself as a subject matter expert within the data center fire protection market. Drive adoption of Johnson Controls’ broader building technology portfolio, including fire and life safety, building automation, energy management, security, digital services, and smart building solutions. Collaborate with regional sales teams, operations teams, and technical experts to support project pursuits and ensure successful project delivery. Utilize Salesforce CRM, Altify Account Management, and other sales tools to effectively manage pipeline, customer engagement, forecasting, and account strategies. Maintain regular customer engagement through business reviews, innovation workshops, and strategic account meetings. Support pre-bid, bid, and post-bid activities, ensuring effective communication and coordination between customers and internal stakeholders. Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, industry trends, and competitive insights to management and product teams. Foster strong internal relationships and work effectively within a matrix organization to drive customer satisfaction and business growth. Participate in industry events, networking activities, and professional organizations to strengthen market presence and customer relationships. What we are looking for? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent professional experience. Proven success in technical or solutions-based B2B sales, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Consultative selling skills with the ability to influence customer decision-making and build long-term strategic relationships. Experience working independently
