Electrical Engineer – Intern

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a hardware/electrical engineer for our Idaho Scientific group, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and deploying secure system solutions through novel CPU design, crypto cores, purpose-built system-on-a-chip architectures, and hardened operating systems. Our solutions are the foundation for how military systems will remain safe and secure in the conflicts of the future.

Strong foundation in relevant coursework or projects: embedded C/C++, RTOS, digital logic, Verilog/SystemVerilog, FPGA development, or ASIC design flow. Evidence of hands-on problem solving: personal, academic, internship, lab, or open-source work that shows candidates can design, debug, test, and document technical solutions. Curiosity and collaboration: clear communication, willingness to learn quickly, and an ability to work thoughtfully with hardware and software engineers in a security-focused environment.
