As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. The Google Play Monetization (M10n) Technical Program Management (TPgM) team sits at the epicenter of Google's global digital economy. We own and orchestrate the technical strategy, delivery, and scalability of Google Play’s commerce platform powering millions of developers, supporting billions of active users, and enabling a vibrant everything marketplace. In this role, you will operate with high autonomy across technical ambiguity, you will partner with engineering, product managers, partnerships, legal, policy, trust and safety, and cross-product area partners (such as Google Payments, Android Platform, Core, YouTube, G1). You will bridge business strategy, complex distributed systems architecture, and operational execution to deliver mission-critical commerce platforms. Google Play offers music, movies, books, apps and games for devices, powered by the cloud. It syncs across devices and on the web. As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy an ebook or song on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. The Google Play team enhances the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Drive the execution of Google Play's programs to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery. Lead engagement with cross-functional teams, consisting of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from different Play vertical and horizontal teams to identify dependencies and assess the impact of new programs, including regulatory, privacy and compliance initiatives. Manage a portfolio of programs and project roadmaps to drive business priorities and outcomes. Represent product and engineering teams across cross-functional forums to uncover dependencies and drive shared OKRs. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across partner organizations.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in program management. Experience developing and managing tools, procedures, and processes for establishing cross-functional programs. Experience with digital marketplaces. Preferred qualifications: 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
