Key Functions: Strategic Partnership & Influence Work in close partnership with the Grande Prairie site leadership team and collaborate with regional and functional partners as needed to support silviculture strategy and execution that supports safety, environmental performance, financial results, and long‑term fibre supply. Program Ownership & Accountability Own assigned silviculture programs from planning through execution, with clear accountability for cost control, regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, contractor performance, and long‑term forest productivity. Data‑Driven Silviculture Leadership Lead the continued evolution toward a disciplined, data‑driven silviculture system by ensuring high‑quality data management, interpreting performance trends, and using silviculture data to inform decisions, improve practices, and drive continuous improvement. Contractor & Team Leadership Lead contractors by setting expectations, managing performance, and ensuring safe, consistent execution in a contractor‑heavy operating environment. Serve as a trusted technical and operational resource for internal team members, providing guidance, coaching, and informal mentorship while partnering with leaders on team effectiveness. External Relationships & Representation Build and maintain strong working relationships with Indigenous communities, government agencies, researchers, and other stakeholders, representing Weyerhaeuser with credibility, professionalism, and sound professional judgement.
