They work closely with machine operators and the shipping department to meet or exceed goals for Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Delivery.

Job Function • Generally responsible for completing basic, routine tasks with detailed instructions and/or core knowledge of shop flow. • Review and follow work orders, tooling instructions or other written specifications. • Coordinates and executes material handling. • Performs quality control inspections. • Removes scrap metal and clean equipment according to designated maintenance procedures. • Moves material from production areas to storage or other designated areas using forklift or crane. • Sorts and packages parts as directed. • Tag material for proper identification and completes all required documentation. • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. • Operates yard truck, forklift, and overhead crane. • Spot checks on inventory, completes daily and/or ad hoc checks for proper tagging of material, as directed. • Report any irregularities to supervisor for direction. • Responsible for adhering to/ensuring compliance with applicable safety and quality standards. • All other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor. Required Skills • Valid Driver’s License - required. • Must be able to meet or exceed Level 4 (Heavy Work) of a Personal Capacity Profile. • 0-5 years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities - required. • Ability to show adequate manual dexterity, finger dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and multilimbed coordination - required. • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions as applied to work situations - required. • Basic measurement skills, including taking, converting, and/or using measurements of length, width, height, and weight to perform basic math computations correctly - required. • Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions - required. • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively - required. • Ability to make
