Job Description
At Regions, the BlackArch Investment Banking Analyst plays a critical analytical and support role within deal teams and interacts directly with clients. This role is responsible for many key stages of the transaction process and completes a variety of simultaneous projects, including developing valuation models and analyses, compiling industry research, writing and preparing presentation materials, and interacting with clients on engaged transactions. BlackArch, a wholly owned subsidiary of Regions Bank, is a Southeast based, middle-market M&A advisory firm whose professionals have closed more than 400 transactions across a broad range of industries, with enterprise values ranging from $50 million to over $1 billion. BlackArch offers a full spectrum of advisory services to financial sponsors, private companies, and diversified corporations, addressing the needs of owner-operators, founders, and shareholders of private companies with specialized services that include M&A advisory, strategic advisory and private capital solutions. The firm has built significant sector knowledge in key industries and has organized select industry practice groups to meet its clients’ needs in the areas of: Aerospace & Defense Automotive Aftermarket Building Products & Infrastructure Business Services Consumer Products & Services Distribution Energy & Industrial Services Food & Beverage Industrial Products Life Science & Healthcare Primary Responsibilities Handles transactional processes Completes a variety of projects which includes developing valuation models and analyses, compiling industry research, writing and preparing presentation materials, and interacting with clients on engaged transactions Gains investment banking experience through exposure to a variety of different industries and transactions This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible.
