Citi is looking for a dynamic Product Delivery Engineer to drive the end-to-end delivery of our most critical data and technology solutions. Key Responsibilities
1. Product Ownership & Agile Delivery Backlog Management: Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog in Jira, ensuring alignment with business priorities, strategic roadmaps, and stakeholder commitments.
Requirements
Definition: Author high-quality user stories, detailed acceptance criteria (BDD/Gherkin format preferred), and functional specifications. Agile Leadership: Lead key agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives. Product Roadmap: Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to both technical teams and business sponsors. UAT & Release Management: Define User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, coordinate testing cycles with business users, and sign off on releases. 2. Business & Data Analysis Data Querying & Extraction: Perform advanced data analysis by querying large-scale databases using SQL to extract, manipulate, and interpret complex datasets. Data Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau to present global financial, operational, or risk metrics. Business Acumen: Translate complex business processes, transaction flows, and financial reporting requirements (e.g., global P&L and balance sheet trends) into technical data models and system specifications. Process Optimization: Analyze end-to-end workflows to identify inefficiencies, championing the use of data and analytics to improve speed, quality, and operational efficiency. 3. Data Governance & Quality Assurance Data Quality Rules: Define and monitor Critical Data Elements (CDEs), establish robust data quality rules, and drive the resolution of data quality issues. Lineage & Metadata: Document comprehensive data lineage, metadata, and data dictionaries to ensure full transparency and traceability of data across systems. 4. Stakeholder & Change Management Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships and expectations with senior business sponsors, finance leaders, and risk managers, communicating progress and risks with transparency. Influence & Negotiation: Synthesize complex technical and data concepts to influence change, negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts across cross-functional teams. Adoption & Training: Lead change management activities, including creating user documentation, conducting training sessions, and driving the adoption of new data solutions. 5. Innovation in Execution Leverage AI Tools: Utilize cutting-edge AI tools to accelerate requirements analysis, improve the quality of user story documentation, and enhance feature file generation. Generative & Agentic AI Knowledge: Strong understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts and their applications in a product context. Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
