The Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients, visitors, families, medical staff, and vendors as well as routing all incoming phone calls in a professional manner and presents a positive image. Hours are based on departmental and facility needs with varied hours as directed by the Director of PI/Compliance and/or the CEO/Managing Director. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate person/department. Greet and directs visitors. Process visitors as per hospital policy and procedure, checking for contraband, utilizing metal detector and prescribed search methods. Announce codes and complete emergency procedures. Maintain an accurate accounting of meal tickets and funds. Assist with clerical duties as needed. Must be available to work weekends and some evenings as needed.

Job Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma One (1) year receptionist or customer service experience. Behavioral healthcare experience preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multi-task and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Computer skills, accurate data entry skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information. Ability to work independently. Professional appearance. Ability to work weekends is a must.
