Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Industrial Security Analyst . This position will be located in Huntsville, AL and will support Advanced Programs. What You’ll Get To Do: • Support a fast-paced, high-profile, program; create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers • Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment • Conduct security education classes and security audits • Assist with Media Issuance, Accountability, and Destruction or serve as a Data Transfer Agent • Receive, process, distribute, and control classified documentation (hard copy and electronic media) entering or leaving the facility • Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues • Submit, review, and verify Visit Requests through queries to government security databases and systems • Support classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with the 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual (DoD Manual 5205.07) and other applicable security regulations and requirements • Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures • Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications guidance • Assist program managers and professional staff in the interpretation, application, and compliance of the program Security Classification Guides (SCG) You’ll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related experience, or Master's Degree with 6 years of related experience, or 4 years with a PhD (an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree) Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets Excellent writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communications Organized and efficient at time management Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs) Experience with NISS, DISS and JADE Prior Contractor Facility Security Officer (FSO) and SAP Security Officer (CSSO) Experience Experience leading small teams Experience with SAP inspections and a record of Satisfactory compliance ratings Strong working knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives
