Business Analyst, Conferences Business Solutions

Gartner Conferences is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to help shape and deliver the technology solutions that power our world-class conference experiences. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to identify opportunities, improve processes, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance the experience for both conference attendees and Gartner associates.   The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for solving business challenges through technology. You will play a key role in translating business needs into actionable requirements, supporting agile delivery teams, and driving continuous improvement across our conference technology ecosystem.   As a Business Analyst, y ou will be responsible for:   Partnering closely with Product Owner(s) to define business needs, prioritize opportunities, and create high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.   Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business initiatives, technology enhancements, and process improvements.   Conducting business analysis to identify problems, opportunities, risks, and recommended solutions.   Evaluating current and future-state business processes, workflows, and system capabilities to drive operational efficiency.   Translating business and technology strategies into clear requirements, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.   Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to support decision-making, prioritization, and solution validation.   Identifying opportunities to improve user experiences, streamline processes, and leverage emerging technologies, including automation and AI-enabled capabilities.   Partnering with technology teams throughout the solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering through testing and implementation.   Supporting conference operations by helping resolve business and technology challenges remotely and onsite at Gartner conferences worldwide.   Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment, adoption, and successful delivery of solutions .   What we’re looking for:   1-3 years of experience in business analysis, product delivery, project management, or a related field.     Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to solve complex business problems and make data-driven recommendations.   Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and communicate insights effectively.     Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional experiences for customers and business partners.   Demonstrated ability to understand user needs and advocate for solutions that create value.     Communication & Collaboration:   Excellent verbal, written, and facilitation skills.   Ability to elicit stakeholder feedback, document requirements, and communicate effectively across both business and technical audiences.     Ownership & Initiative: Self-motivated, accountable, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.   Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.     Influence & Relationship Building: Strong collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.   Ability to build trust and work effectively across cross-functional teams.     Organization & Execution: Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail.   Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments is a plus.     Technology Acumen: Ability to understand business systems, integrations, data flows, and technology concepts sufficiently to partner effectively with development teams.   Familiarity with tools such as Jira, or similar platforms is a plus.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.     Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10 times per year to support the successful execution of Gartner
