HII has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Business Management (Financial Accounting & Reporting) intern at the corporate office in Newport News, Virginia during the Summer of 2027! For 10 weeks you will:
Assist in the monthly and quarterly financial close and associated reporting as required. Learn to generate and interpret accurate and concise financial reports
Perform general ledger account reconciliation utilizing Blackline accounting software Assists with tie-out process of quarterly footnotes and supporting work papers Log monthly intercompany accounting transfers and reconcile balances Learn monthly to enhance business writing, professional networking and communication skills

Currently attending a 4 year college or university (or 2+2 program) and ideally will be a rising Junior or above, and will be attending school in the fall following the internship, or currently enrolled in a relevant Master's program 4.
