As an SDM within the Mobile App Foundations organization you will lead your team in building the next generation mobile foundation to power fast, fluid, and interactive experiences on mobile devices worldwide. We set and raise the bar on the mobile app shopping experience by building engineering frameworks, tools, and code used by thousands of developers across Amazon. We help Amazon teams discover and explore new ways for customers to complete common shopping tasks quicker, browse more efficiently, and discover new features. We think in terms of frameworks not features; stability, scaling, and performance over using technology to solve discrete problems.

Key job responsibilities - Lead a team to accelerate mobile development - Influence design and architecture by sharing your mobile application development expertise - Participate in the full development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters, including test plan execution and software quality needs. - Own the delivery of an entire piece of a system or mobile application, and serve as a technical lead on complex projects. - Build software solutions where the problem is not well defined. - Design and define the interaction between the solution components and other systems where applicable.
