As a Senior Staff Engineer Unit Process Development in our Research & Development team, you'll have the opportunity to merge creativity with your technical expertise by shaping the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects, and bringing new ideas to life. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Perform process development activities, including process parameter scouting, optimization, verification, and Process Freeze, to achieve project targets in terms of timeline, quality, cost competitiveness, and manufacturability. Support prototype and development sample builds, and drive technical handover and knowledge transfer activities to Operations. Generate, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of development-related documentation, including Process Specifications, PFMEA, DFMEA, OJTI, T32, PDR, Process of Record, Assembly Design Rules, Process Roadmaps, Failure Catalogues, Control Plans, and Maintenance Checklists. Collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives and perform verification and qualification activities for new materials, tooling, and equipment used in development projects. Lead task forces and complex problem-solving activities using statistical and analytical methodologies, including SPC, APC, DOE, 8D, FMEA, and DFMEA. Identify, develop, define, and improve process technologies, materials, equipment, tooling, and process capabilities to support evolving business and technology requirements. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to engineers, project teams, and other stakeholders. Initiate, develop, and drive intellectual property (IP) ideas through technical research, innovation, and technology development activities. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 8 years of working experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Strong hands-on knowledge and technical expertise in semiconductor assembly processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of material science and chemical engineering principles. Knowledge of analytical equipment and related methodologies. Proficiency in statistical data analysis techniques, including Design of Experiments (DOE). #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
