Role
We are hiring an experienced Google Workspace Administrator/Architect to join our Bangalore IT team in a hybrid capacity. Reporting to the Director of Business Applications Support, this role is responsible for end-to-end administration, design, implementation, and support of our Google Workspace platform, with a focus on enhancing team productivity, collaboration, employee experience, and driving the strategic adoption of AI tools like Google Gemini company-wide.
What You’ll Do (Role Expectations)
• Lead the design, implementation, and long-term strategic vision for enterprise Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, Docs) and integrated generative AI capabilities (Google Gemini).
• Champion and drive the rollout, administration, governance, and organizational adoption of Google Gemini Enterprise capabilities across all Workspace applications.
• Develop automation scripts using Google Apps Script, Google Apps Manager (GAM), and APIs to optimize group management, administrative workflows, and AI-enabled automations.
• Configure SAML-based SSO and SCIM provisioning/deprovisioning for seamless, automated user lifecycle management and role-based access control.
• Implement robust security policies, compliance standards, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), AI governance frameworks, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to secure corporate data across endpoints.
• Resolve complex technical escalations, partner with Google/third-party vendors, deliver end-user training on Workspace and Gemini productivity enhancements, and analyze performance metrics to continuously improve collaboration.
