In the role of Project Engineer working in Creemore, Ontario, you will be part of the Six Pints Collective Brewing Operations team. You will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of capital projects across brewery operations, ensuring projects are completed sately, on time, and within budget. As a technical subject matter expert, you will provide engineering guidance, manage project budgets, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and drive continuous improvements that support operational excellence and business growth.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Ontario & West Craft and works closely with brewery operations, maintenance, production, quality, supply chain, external contractors, and cross-functional teams across Six Pints Collective and Molson Coors to successfully execute capital projects and engineering initiatives.
What You'll Be Brewing
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects across Creemore Springs Brewery, Creemore Springs Distribution Centre, and Granville Island Brewery, managing project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risks, and performance metrics.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Marketing, and Business teams to identify capital investment opportunities, develop business cases, and support short-and long-term capital planning.
• Manage capital expenditures and project financials, including forecasting, budget tracking, feasibility assessments, and reporting to ensure projects deliver expected business value.
• Oversee all phases of project execution, including contractor and vendor management, change management, commissioning project closeout, and the successful handoff of assets to operations.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S), regulatory, and corporate requirements, including contractor safety programs, environmental permits, wastewater management, emissions reporting, and other government reporting obligations.
• Support brewery operations through engineering analysis, data-driven insights, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce losses, and optimize operational performance.
• Lead sustainability initiatives and utility management programs while supporting environmental performance and compliance objectives across brewery operations.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to incorporate asset reliability, preventative maintenance, training requirements, spare parts strategies, and lifecycle considerations into project designs.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert, providing engineering guidance, supporting contract engineers, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and driving continuous improvements in project management and execution practices.
