Machine Assistant- Asheville   Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential   Join Amcor as a Coater or Laminator Assistant and play a key role in producing high-quality laminated products that protect what’s important. You’ll assist the operator adhesive and extrusion laminators or presses, ensure safety and quality standards, and contribute to a team focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.   Schedule   Nights- Monday – Thursday, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Value, Recognized   We reward great work with:   Pay: $21/hour + $1.00/hour night shift premium   Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week   401(k): Dollar-for-dollar match up to 8%   Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one   Paid time off and holidays   Growth and development opportunities   Job Description: Possibility Unpacked   What you’ll do:   Set up and assist the operator on laminators to meet quality and productivity goals   Troubleshoot lamination, web handling, and equipment issues   Inspect adhesion quality, identify defects, and ensure customer specifications are met   Follow all safety and chemical handling procedures   Complete required documentation and reports   Assist with training team members   Communicate with supervisors, maintenance, and co-workers   Maintain housekeeping standards and support process improvements   What We Want From You: Lead the Pack   Preferred qualifications:   Mechanical aptitude Ability to distinguish minor imperfections and color accuracy   Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems   Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)   Commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality   What We Value   Our Core Values guide us: Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Results, and Outperformance.
