AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a BIM/CAD Specialist in Piscataway, NJ.
Job Details
Support the development, coordination, and maintenance of multidisciplinary 3D models for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate representation of design intent Lead model organization and structure across Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and ProjectWise environments, ensuring consistent workflows and digital delivery standards Coordinate drawing and model production activities across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural, and utility design teams to maintain alignment and document consistency Conduct model integration and clash detection reviews to assist in identifying design conflicts and facilitate resolution discussions with discipline leads Support the implementation, improvement, and documentation of BIM/CAD standards, naming conventions, and design workflow procedures across project teams Provide guidance and technical assistance to team members on BIM tools, model workflows, file coordination, and project-specific digital procedures Assist with onboarding and training project staff transitioning into Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), including explanation of folder structures, permissions, and collaboration processes Maintain version control and digital model traceability to ensure project data remains up-to-date and aligned with review milestones Participate in coordination meetings to support design progress, provide model updates, and communicate digital delivery requirements Contribute to quality assurance practices by reviewing design outputs for accuracy, conformance to standards, and completeness prior to formal submissions Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week Qualifications Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of study and 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Civil Engineer, or in a related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: BIM modeling tools and BIM coordination workflows and implementation Common Data Environment (CDE) and cloud-based collaboration workflows AutoCAD Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk Navisworks BIM modeling and coordination workflows 3D infrastructure modeling and design documentation Multidisciplinary design coordination, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and utilities PDF review and markup tools Microsoft Office Suite Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
