The Senior / Quality Assurance Engineer (Operations) is responsible for providing independent quality oversight of engine MRO operations, ensuring maintenance activities are performed in compliance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements. The role focuses on operational quality assurance through surveillance, inspections, quality verifications, investigation of quality events, and continuous improvement initiatives across engine build and test activities.
Responsibilities
Support implementation and compliance of Quality Management System requirements. Execute and support Quality Operations programs, monitoring key quality metrics and implementing corrective actions as needed. Promote quality awareness and procedural compliance within operations. Provide independent quality oversight during engine assembly, build, and test activities. Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits as required. Lead or support investigation of non-conformances, quality escapes, and operational quality events. Support quality improvement and error-prevention initiatives. Provide quality coaching and guidance to operational personnel. Support quality awareness and human performance improvement programs. Perform other quality-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical, Quality Management, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace MRO, aviation maintenance, manufacturing quality, or related regulated industry. Experience in quality assurance, inspection, surveillance, or engine maintenance operations preferred. Knowledge of aviation regulations, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Highly motivated with a strong drive for success. Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
