Human Resources Generalist The Human Resources Generalist plays a vital role in fostering positive employee experience while supporting the organization’s day-to-day people operations. This position provides comprehensive HR support across employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and payroll processing. To thrive/succeed as the Human Resources Generalist, you should have: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered. 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with hands-on experience in payroll processing Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, and Microsoft Office systems, including strong Excel skills. Strong knowledge of payroll practices, employment laws, and HR compliance, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred. Multi-state payroll experience preferred. Your responsibilities as the Human Resources Generalist will include: Human Resources Responsibilities Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR policies, employee relations, benefits, performance management, and workplace matters. Manage and support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities, including candidate coordination, orientation, personnel records, and HRIS administration. Support employee relations and performance management processes, including investigations, corrective actions, performance evaluations, coaching, and employee development. Administer employee benefits and leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other applicable leaves. Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Develop HR reports, workforce metrics, and analytics while contributing to employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture initiatives. Payroll Responsibilities Manage accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees, including review of timekeeping, wage changes, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and other payroll adjustments. Maintain payroll records and system integrity while responding to employee inquiries and resolving payroll discrepancies. Coordinate payroll tax compliance, garnishments, levies, child support orders, and other required deductions and filings. Reconcile payroll and support month-end, year-end, and W-2 processes in partnership with Finance and
