Electronic Technician

SLB is seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Technician to join our Maintenance Base in Oklahoma City, OK . The successful candidate will support the reliability and performance of electronic equipment used in operations while contributing to a safe, efficient, and quality-focused maintenance environment. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of equipment performance and operational readiness. We are looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues, works effectively in a team-oriented environment, and embraces continuous learning and improvement. This position provides the opportunity to develop specialized technical expertise while making a direct impact on asset reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and overall business performance.   Roles and Responsibilities Maintain assigned equipment in accordance with reliability-centered maintenance programs and established maintenance procedures. Accurately document maintenance activities, equipment history, labor, materials, and parts utilization within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems. Ensure compliance with Product Line maintenance standards, quality requirements, and operational processes. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing asset utilization and reducing cost of service delivery. Contribute to efforts that improve equipment turnaround times and reduce maintenance-related downtime. Support maintenance team effectiveness through troubleshooting, repair, and technical problem-solving. Participate in failure analysis and corrective action activities to improve equipment reliability. Assist with asset optimization projects, including repair, refurbishment, and reuse initiatives.     Qualifications and Experience Technical diploma, vocational training, trade school certification, or equivalent education in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in electronics maintenance, equipment repair, troubleshooting, or a related technical field. Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), diagnostic tools, or maintenance tracking systems is an asset. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.   .
