Caterpillar is looking to hire a Program Manager – Enterprise Trade Compliance. The Program Manager is responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and maturity of the global trade compliance program. This role serves as a central coordinator for communications, governance, project execution, and continuous improvement efforts across Enterprise Trade Compliance. The Program Manager partners closely with compliance leaders, legal counsel, business units, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure strategic priorities are executed effectively, decisions are governed appropriately, and change is implemented successfully across the enterprise. What You Will Do
Strategic Program & Project Management: Lead and coordinate Trade Compliance initiatives by managing project portfolios, developing execution plans, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and driving alignment across stakeholders. Governance & Leadership Support: Administer governance processes by preparing executive communications, tracking decisions, and ensuring accountability for strategic priorities. Communications & Change Management: Develop and execute communication and change management strategies that drive awareness, engagement, training, and adoption of Trade Compliance initiatives across the enterprise. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence: Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and continuously improve Trade Compliance processes, controls, and operating effectiveness. Incorporate technology solutions and data to drive process efficiency and effectiveness.
What You Will Bring
A successful candidate is a highly organized strategic thinker who excels at bringing structure to complex initiatives, communicating effectively with senior leaders, coordinating diverse stakeholders, executing through influence, and driving measurable improvements that strengthen Enterprise Trade Compliance capabilities. Top Candidates Will Have: 8-10 years of progressive experience in leading teams to drive change required. Experience in program management and strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills. Continuous improvement and process optimization experience. Trade Compliance, Customs, Export Controls, legal, or regulatory experience preferred but not required. Proven ability to influence without direct authority and drive results through collaboration. Additional Info: The primary location for this role is Peoria, IL or Irving, TX. Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify up to 20% travel is expected Sponsorship is not available Summary Pay Range: $159,120.00 - $238,680.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and
