Who we are looking for: We are looking for an exceptional individual to become an Investment Analytics (IA) client facing specialist to work in our regional IA team, based in Beijing. Investment Analytics is a specialized service that provides in-depth analysis of investment data, mandate guidelines, market trends, and performance metrics. By leveraging advanced techniques, we support portfolio management decision-making and help clients meet their reporting obligations to investors and regulators. This includes assessing risk, return, asset allocation, market conditions, and compliance with investment mandates. Our team of subject matter experts offers comprehensive support across Performance, Attribution, Risk, and Mandate Compliance, empowering clients to make informed investment decisions, manage risk effectively, and maintain transparency. Working closely with our operational hubs, we ensure a seamless client experience with strong governance and oversight. What you will be responsible for: As an IA Specialist you will be required to: Understand your client’s IA requirements and what they value Build trusted relationships using proactive communication and expectation management Provide strong governance and client support via our Client Service Process (CSP) Deliver value to our clients through insights and consulting on value-add solutions Build and communicate your knowledge of the local market What we value: The following skills will help you succeed in this role: Team first mindset Motivation to build a career in Investment Analytics Strong mathematics and analytical skills Interest and understanding of financial markets and products Ability to pick up unfamiliar / complex topics Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, solution-oriented attitude Education & Preferred Qualifications: University degree qualification Post graduate degree or studying towards CFA® and/or CIPM® an advantage Exposure to team based activities Experience Guidelines: 2+ years’ related industry experience, preferably with some direct analytics and client exposure from the following: Interpreting and articulating investment performance, attribution and ex-post risk results for portfolios Understanding of investment data requirements to produce accurate analytics results Understanding of monitoring investment restrictions for portfolios Interpret mandate, prospectus, regulatory and or other in-house investment guidelines Client service experience with institutional clients an advantage Why us?
