This role involves inspection, testing, and documentation to uphold Jabil's commitment to quality excellence. Job Responsibilities * Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections of components and finished goods according to quality plans and engineering specifications. * Conduct various tests using appropriate equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, visual inspection tools) and record results accurately. * Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective actions as needed. * Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support the implementation of preventive measures. * Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related problems and improve processes. * Maintain accurate and detailed quality records, inspection reports, and documentation in accordance with company procedures. * Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and data. * Communicate with external customers. * Participate in the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment. * Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Job Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in a technical field is preferred. * 1-3 years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics manufacturing or a related industry. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. * Experience with various inspection and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators). * Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). * Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
