Specific discipline requirements to be confirmed. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; ISO 9001 / ISO 27001 Lead Auditor CIA, CISA, or CRMA (preferred) WORK EXPERIENCE 15+ years leading risk, quality, or control in a GCC / shared services environment) TECHNICAL SKILLS Design and implementation of risk and internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO, three lines of defence, RCSA and control testing) Quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma, COPC), including QA sampling design and defect analytics External certification and audit management (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 1 / SOC 2, client and regulatory audits) Regulatory and data protection awareness relevant to insurance / broking operations (e.g., GDPR, DPDP, FCA-regulated processes) Control and quality reporting — dashboards, issue and action tracking, and executive reporting on control effectiveness BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS Executive presence and credibility with senior onshore, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit stakeholders Independence and the courage to escalate control failures and hold the line on standards Strong people leadership — able to build, coach, and retain a specialist team from a standing start Pragmatism in balancing control rigour with operational throughput and transition timelines Clarity in communicating control and quality expectations across sites and cultures (e.g., India, Poland) JOB OVERVIEW The Quality and Control Leader will establish and own the risk, internal control, and quality framework for Aon’s Global Capability Centers as a new pillar within Business Excellence. The role defines how GCC operations are controlled and assured — designing the control framework, setting quality standards and assurance routines across processes, and building the governance rhythm that gives onshore stakeholders, Risk, and Compliance confidence in delivery. The Leader also owns the external certification agenda (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001, SOC 1 / SOC 2) and represents the GCCs in internal audit, client due diligence, and regulatory reviews.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and own the end-to-end risk and internal control framework for the GCCs — risk taxonomy, control library, RCSA methodology, and control testing calendar Establish enterprise-aligned quality standards, QA / QC sampling methodology, error taxonomy, and defect management routines across all in-scope processes Own the external certification and attestation agenda (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001, SOC 1 / SOC 2), including readiness assessment, auditor management, and remediation closure Build the governance and assurance cadence — control effectiveness reporting, issue and action tracking, and escalation to GCC leadership, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit Lead and develop the pillar’s team of Senior SMEs; allocate coverage across solution lines and sites (e.g., India, Poland) and set the capability development agenda Partner with business excellence and transition teams to embed control and quality requirements into due diligence and go-live readiness, so new workstreams land controlled from day one OTHER ROLE DETAILS Risk & Internal Control Quality Management & Assurance Audit & External Certification HOW WE SUPPORT OUR COLLEAGUES In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we are proud to be an equal opportunity workforce.
