 Position Details: Location: Littleton, CO Work Schedule: 9x80 Position type: Full-time onsite (this is not a hybrid position)   Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an RF Engineer to join our team in Littleton, CO!  In this role, you will: - Support the Global Security portfolio of programs by performing payload analysis on world class RF Payloads across various stages in each program’s lifecycle. - Perform system design and architecture to identify optimal payload solutions for new program captures. - Engage in system integration and test to optimize system performance and calibration, and validate requirement verification. - Support troubleshooting anomaly resolution. - Contribute to deployment and initial performance assessment for critical government national assets. - Work closely with other RF Engineers, Box and Sub-systems CPEs, leaders, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure a given program within Global Securities is successful. - Partner with customers and program leadership to ensure the success of payload products and milestones. - Perform cascade analysis, verification, trades, modeling, calibration, risk/opportunities, support proposal efforts, and payload post-test analysis. - Contribute to payload architecture and trade decisions to enable improved payload and mission performance What you will gain in this role: - Gain experience in payload hardware and the mission - Build on your engineering experience and analysis skills - Collaborate with fellow engineers and analysts - Exposure to customer interactions on technical discussions and interchanges - Build skills to take on more engineering growth opportunities - Gain experience in an exciting mission area with real-world impact - Enable our military to perform their job effectively and bring them home safely #NSSGS #SpaceRF #SpaceNSS   Standard Job Description: Architects and designs Radio Frequency systems and circuitry. Designs and develops RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test. Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes and tests RF hardware to verify performance characteristics. Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase. In addition, develops RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of: antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment. Performs link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements. Identifies and tracks RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Performs RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis. Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis. Basic Qualifications 
 • Understanding of technical requirements and allocation of functions down to satellite subsystems and/or components • MATLAB or other coding experience Security Clearance / Work Authorization: • To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen. • Prior to starting employment, selected candidates will be required to possess Top Secret clearance. For this position, applicants must possess a currently Active Top Secret security clearance to be considered. • Selected candidates will be required to obtain, and maintain, Top Secret with adjudicated SCI Eligibility (TS/SCI w/Poly) for long term employment on this program.   Desired Skills
