We are recruiting an Associate Director, Health Economics & Reimbursement professional to join our team on-site in Santa Clara, CA or Plymouth, MN .  The Associate Director will be responsible for the proposals, development, and execution of value-focused economic and reimbursement strategies. This position will be a strategic business partner to the Abbott Structural Heart business, developing global health economic and reimbursement programs.  The Associate Director is responsible for formulating and driving aligned health economics strategies and tactical plans throughout the Structural Heart business. This position will play a lead role in the development and communication/presentation of the value story and economic evidence for various technologies and will coordinate extensively both internally (with Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Sales and other functions) and externally (research partners) to develop and communicate these materials to internal and external stakeholders. What You’ll Work On Develop aspirational value story for new products in partnership with the Abbott Structural Heart business, including evidence gap analyses and presenting opportunities to generate meaningful evidence Inform and shape opinion regarding the value of company products within the health community. Manage deliverables such as reimbursement dossiers, tools/resources, reimbursement landscape analyses, consultant driven research projects. Proactively monitor external environment, customers and competitors to identify opportunities for protecting and improving value capture. Participates in regular, internal platform meetings to influence and provide recommendations. Develop and implement health economics and reimbursement strategies to support cross-functional teams. Communicate Abbott value messaging, reimbursement and coverage strategies, and holds a strong understanding of physicians, business/practice managers, payers, and their decision-making systems.
