The Work Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our Advanced Launchers and Mk 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) programs in Moorestown, NJ. You’ll join a collaborative Software Engineering team developing and supporting real-time embedded software for mission-critical systems. In this role, you will: Plan, design, develop, integrate, test, debug, and document software. Apply object-oriented programming and software engineering principles to solve complex problems. Develop and implement solutions across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Support software integration, verification, and test activities. Apply software configuration management practices and ensure engineering standards are met. Independently determine technical approaches and develop solutions to challenging software problems. Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality capabilities.
