JOB SUMMARY
Candidate will learn and apply expertise on Textron Aviation Parts and Distribution organization while developing and optimizing strategic initiatives by generating actionable insights and recommendations from internal and external data\.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Performs data analysis via various data\-mining and statistical techniques to gain insights from data to support business objectives\.
+ Collaborate cross functionally to develop and implement new processes
+ Collects, manages, analyzes and interprets large volumes of data while ensuring a high level of data quality\. Leverage tools to develop and maintain curated data sets for use in analysis
+ Develop and maintain data reports measuring daily business activities in PowerBi, Alteryx, and other tools using query languages and formula libraries such as SQL and DAX
+ Work to improve data quality within TAPD by assisting Data Governance efforts in creating and maintaining data quality standards
+ Provide recommendations to the business for new initiatives to support business objectives
+ Interface with other data professionals throughout the organization to embrace cross functional growth in analytics capabilities
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
Pursing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or other related field
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Drive and desire to excel in an autonomous environment
+ Bias for action – ability to take initiative and act on curiosities
+ Desire and ability to learn and leverage new software tools and processes in a self learning environment
Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U\.S\. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F\-1 students and J\-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship\.
Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late\-May to early\-August lasting 10 weeks\.
Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager\.
