Key job responsibilities -Build financial and operational reports that inform business decision-making for fixed and variable cost centers across transportation operations -Extract and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness, delivering timely insights to stakeholders -Develop new reports and analytical tools to manage costs and surface insights in the transportation space using Cognos, internal AI applications, and other finance platforms -Support financial planning cycles including month-end close, forecasts, and operating plans while implementing controls to enhance financial controllership -Partner with business operations and finance teams to analyze transportation cost drivers and recommend process improvements that increase productivity and reduce costs A day in the life You'll start your day analyzing transportation cost data, identifying trends and anomalies that impact middle mile operations. You'll collaborate with business partners to understand their evolving needs, then design and build dynamic reports using advanced finance tools and AI applications.
