Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Data Science Intern to join our Oncology Team located in Baltimore, MD ! Work Schedule: Days/ Hours: 40hrs per week Job Responsibilities: Support development and evaluation of bioinformatics pipelines and internal tooling Contribute to technical documentation Learn development processes in an agile setting Familiarize yourself with genomics results and aid in harmonization of genomic results for precision oncology products Minimum Qualifications: Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Life Sciences, Data Science, Bioinformatics or Computer Science Preferred Qualifications: 3-6 months experience with data and/or software, working with Next-Generation Sequencing data and/or tooling 3-6 months experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting Additional Job Standards: Have an interest in oncology, genomics, data science and/or bioinformatics Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Actively participates in training sessions and applies newly learned skills accordingly Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders Join Labcorp’s 2027 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! Internship 2027 Dates: June 1, 2027-August 13, 2027 About the Team: Personal Genome Diagnostics (PGDx), a part of LabCorp, is Empowering the Fight Against Cancer by unlocking actionable information from the genome. We are developing an innovative portfolio of tissue-based and non-invasive liquid biopsy genomic products for laboratories worldwide. The Bioinformatics and Data Science team is a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists providing bioinformatics and data science support for the Oncology portfolio.   About the Program: As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background.
