Job Description
What you will do : Define and drive the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and business plan for network automation and assurance capabilities. Identify customer needs, market opportunities, competitive trends, and emerging technologies to shape product direction. Define and prioritize capabilities across network automation, observability, service assurance, continuous validation, intelligent insights, and automated remediation . Drive use cases across Day 0/Day 1/Day 2 network operations , with a strong focus on proactive and intelligent Day 2 assurance. Translate complex networking and operational challenges into intuitive product experiences and differentiated customer value. Partner with Engineering and Architecture to define product requirements, technical priorities, APIs, workflows, and user experiences. Leverage AI/ML, network telemetry, analytics, and cloud-native technologies to enable intelligent network operations. Engage directly with customers through discovery sessions, workshops, POCs, and executive briefings to validate product direction. Develop product positioning, use cases, competitive differentiation, and go-to-market strategies. What you need to bring : 10–12 years of experience in Product Management. Strong understanding of enterprise networking, routing, switching, and network architectures . Hands-on understanding of technologies such as BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, IP/MPLS, VPNs, and routing policy . Strong understanding of network automation and programmability , including REST APIs, NETCONF, YANG, gNMI, streaming telemetry, and/or Python. Experience with network observability, telemetry, analytics, service assurance, or AIOps . Understanding of AI/ML applications in networking , including anomaly detection, intelligent insights, root-cause analysis, and predictive analytics. Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, microservices, containers, APIs, and distributed systems . Strong customer-facing, communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority. Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to translate technology into business outcomes. Experience taking products from concept through launch, adoption, and growth .
