POSITION
SUMMARY : Senior MSL Lead will lead the team to deliver the medical strategy, lead the scientific engagement with Medical Experts, implement clinical and educational strategies and respond to unsolicited medical enquiries for better patient access and outcomes. Senior MSL lead should deeply understand Therapeutic Area(s) and broader external market (competitors, healthcare, regulatory and reimbursement environments) so that they can differentiate organization, interprets and analyses scientific information, leading to stronger impact on business strategy. Finally, Senior MSL lead should Leverage a highly influential network of internal cross-functional stakeholders across the organization to ensure high level support for business strategies and initiatives. Management Be responsible for team recruiting, on-board training, MSL field scientific work coaching, management and performance evaluation of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) team Be responsible for direct report’s performance management, evaluation process, and organizational talent review process for the MSL team. Create the results-driven, patient-centric culture which aligned with J&J credo Recruit, hire and on-board a high performing team of MSLs in conjunction with others. Optimize resources with assigned team priorities. Ensure consistent application of effective technology to enhance productivity of the team. Manage strategically-aligned KOL management budgets, within a therapeutic team of MSLs to ensure team productivity Pay attention to the team’s energy management to ensure their well-being Ensure implementation of MSL activities is 100% compliant within the team 2. Cross-functional Collaboration and Partnership Serve as an interface between related therapeutic area team and other functions. Leverages a highly influential network of internal cross-functional stakeholders across the organization to ensure high level support for business strategies and initiatives. Recognized for aligning key internal partnerships. Increases team visibility to promote team input into regional and global decision making. Considered a valued resource and partner across the J&J organization. Sought out for networking and organizational navigation capabilities.
