About this role
Job Type: Full Time Function: Human Resources Address: 160 Bloor Street East, 11th Floor, Toronto, ON Working Model: Hybrid Belong to Something Beautiful At Sephora Canada, beauty is about feeling seen, valued, and empowered, individually and collectively. It is connecting deeply with others, celebrating diversity and inclusivity, unlocking your potential and making a difference every day. Together, we belong to something beautiful. Ready for a career glow-up? As Manager, Social Impact & Sustainability , you’ll bring our purpose to life across Canada - turning our commitments to people and planet into programs our clients and teams can see, join, and feel. The work you do will impact beauty, as you advance sustainability across packaging, waste, and carbon while growing employee giving and volunteering from coast to coast, aligned to our global cause. Reporting to the Director, Employee Engagement and Internal Communications, you’ll be part of a high-impact team that’s united in beauty, supported by those who are equally as passionate about doing the right thing for our communities and the planet. What You’ll Do: You’ll own our employee giving, matching gifts, and volunteering programs end-to-end — running the Benevity platform, building campaigns, and getting teams in stores, at our Field Support Centre (FSC) and distribution centres excited to take part. You’ll lead national giving moments from concept to close, including our annual giving campaign, heritage and awareness month activations, and rapid-response disaster relief. You’ll manage our partnerships — vetting new partners, shaping agreements, tracking deliverables and impact, and running annual partner reviews. You’ll collaborate with Marketing on key strategic partnerships (ie. Toronto Tempo) to find synergies that increase our impact You’ll run product and in-kind donation programs with Merchandising, Inventory, and Supply Chain, covering eligibility, allocation, logistics, and charitable receipting. You’ll drive sustainability workstreams that matter to our clients — packaging reduction and recyclability, in-store and distribution centre waste diversion, energy and emissions reduction, and refill and take-back programs. You’ll partner with Merchandising and our brand partners on packaging and product sustainability standards, supplier data requests, and claims substantiation alongside Legal. You’ll build the KPI framework, dashboards, and leadership reporting that show our progress - and use what the data tells you to sharpen the strategy. You’ll contribute to our annual impact reporting and to LVMH global deliverables, including LIFE 360 commitments, ratings submissions, and client and partner questionnaires. You’ll work with Communications and Marketing to create internal campaigns, field toolkits, and storytelling that make our impact real for every team member. You’ll manage program budgets with Finance, forecasting, purchase orders, invoicing, and monthly variance tracking - and make sure every dollar lands against our impact priorities. What You’ll Bring: You have 5+ years of experience in social impact, corporate social responsibility, ESG, sustainability, or community engagement, including hands-on ownership of programs inside a large, multi-site organization. You have taken a program from a (nearly) blank page through to launch with measurable results, and built the process, documentation, and reporting that made it stick. You have strong analytical chops, advanced Excel skills, and the patience to work with imperfect data from multiple systems and owners. You have managed budgets, vendors, and external partners, including contracting and invoice workflows. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of building executive-ready presentations and influencing partners without direct authority. You have a natural bias for organization and adaptability, with the
