About this role
Change the world. Love your job. Test is a crucial time in an IC development process; if you find a bug or an issue, it is a good time to fix it, but every additional second of testing we do, is additional cost when you scale a device into production. So, test engineers must identify the critical points of the device where testing is most necessary and the points where we may want to take some risk. It is a precise balance, that has the potential to save our businesses millions of dollars! We are looking for a Test Engineer to develop, validate, and support production test solutions for battery charger ICs, with the responsibility for defining critical test coverage, balancing test time and cost, and ensuring robust product quality at scale. In this role, you will build and debug automated test programs on ATE platforms, design and review test hardware, and perform hands-on lab debugging and correlation. You will work closely with cross functional teams to support silicon bring-up, troubleshoot device and test issues, improve yield, and enable a smooth transition into high-volume manufacturing.
