We are seeking a Mainframe Application Development Engineer with experience in Banking Domain at EY GDS. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that support EY's efforts in enhancing and maintaining client workloads, with a focus on legacy systems and legacy modernization. Collaboration with development teams will be essential to build, deploy, and manage applications that align with business objectives and enhance our Banking services. Additionally, there will be opportunities to support EY's efforts in modernizing client workloads from legacy systems. Designing/ maintaining mainframe applications, involvement in mainframe modernization activities. Participate in application assessment, discovery, roadmap development and application modernization Working in Agile methodology. Work with vendor teams from IT, Ops & Business. Analyse business requirements; write functional and minor development specifications. Code solutions that meet the business requirements in a timely and accurate manner. Follow and improve existing coding standards and best practices. Must have significant experience developing applications under an onshore-offshore model.
