Administrative Support Officer Aon Romania is looking for an Administrative Support Officer to join our Health & Benefits team in Bucharest. In this role, you will provide day‑to‑day administrative and compliance support for employee benefits clients, helping us deliver accurate, timely service. You will work closely with consultants and insurers to manage member changes, maintain documentation, and keep client records up to date. What the day will look like Manage monthly personnel changes (additions and leavers) for medical and life insurance policies, ensuring data is accurate and submitted to insurers on time. Support Know Your Customer (KYC) and Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) requirements by collecting and checking client documentation, maintaining Demands & Needs Tests (DNT) and Product Information Documents (PID), and keeping compliance trackers up to date. Administer an assigned portfolio of small client accounts across the policy lifecycle (set-up, endorsements, renewals, cancellations), including routine correspondence with clients and insurers. Maintain accurate records in internal systems and electronic filing, ensuring information is audit‑ready. Assist with basic documentation and reporting (renewal files, standard letters, data templates) and provide general administrative support to the Health & Benefits team. Skills and experience that will lead to success Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage recurring tasks and deadlines. Comfortable working with MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and handling structured data. Clear written and verbal communication skills in Romanian; English knowledge is an advantage. A collaborative team player, proactive and reliable, with a willingness to learn about insurance and compliance requirements. Previous experience in an administrative, back‑office, insurance or HR support role (1–3 years) is preferred, but motivated entry‑level candidates with strong organizational skills are also encouraged to apply. High school diploma required; a Bachelor’s degree (e.g. Business Administration or related field) is a plus.
