 About this opportunity: Data Analyst - Central Engineering, Strategy & Operations, Austin, Texas Hybrid Work Schedule This is not a remote work opportunity. Ericsson Silicon is scaling its custom ASIC capabilities across 5G Advanced and 6G. Central Engineering provides the design methodologies, tools, and infrastructure that enable silicon development. The Strategy & Operations (StrOps) team supports organizational strategy, operational efficiency, financial stewardship, and execution excellence. We are looking for an AI-focused Data Analyst to transform operational data into actionable insights that support leadership decisions. You will develop dashboards, forecasts, and analytical models while leveraging AI and automation to improve how information is collected, analyzed, and communicated. This role combines strong analytical capabilities, practical AI skills, and an understanding of engineering operations. What you will do: •    Develop and maintain leadership dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or equivalent platforms. •    Build and automate data pipelines that integrate information from multiple systems, ensuring data quality and consistency. •    Analyze resource utilization, headcount, budgets, and operational performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. •    Develop forecasts and scenario models to support resource planning, investment decisions, and execution predictability. •    Apply AI/ML techniques, including LLMs and AI agents, to automate reporting, information retrieval, analysis, and operational workflows. •    Identify opportunities to simplify data collection, reduce manual effort, and improve the efficiency of operational processes. •    Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for engineering and leadership stakeholders. What you will bring •    Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. •    3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related analytical roles. •    Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation. •    Hands-on experience with data visualization, data modeling, and reporting tools such as Power BI. •    Practical experience applying AI/ML technologies, including LLMs, AI-assisted analysis, or intelligent workflow automation. •    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with complex, inconsistent data from multiple sources. •    Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications •    Ph.D. degree in a relevant technical or analytical discipline. •    Experience in semiconductor, hardware, R&D, or other complex engineering environments. •    Familiarity with AI frameworks, LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or agent-based automation. •    Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or resource planning. •    Experience improving operational reporting or analytics processes across multiple teams or locations. •    Demonstrated initiative in identifying and implementing data-driven process improvements.
