Key responsibilities in your new role Software Development: Develop, test, and maintain Python applications under the guidance of experienced team members; Follow engineering best practices, including clean code, documentation, testing, and maintainable design Quality Assurance & Testing: Write and improve automated unit and integration tests Database Management: Work with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server Troubleshooting & Support: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues DevOps & Containerization: Use Docker to build and run development environments and applications Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities; Collaborate with the team and business stakeholders Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Education: You're currently enrolled in the 2nd year or later of your Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or a related field Programming & Databases: Knowledge of Python programming; Basic knowledge and understanding of database concepts; Familiarity with PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server DevOps Tools: Initial experience with Docker Collaborative Workflows: Familiarity with Git and other collaborative development workflows Software Testing & Quality Assurance: Basic understanding of automated testing and the ability to write unit tests Hands-on Experience: Initial practical contact with Python and database concepts through academic, personal, or open-source projects Languages: Fluent in English and Romanian (mandatory) It would be a plus: CI/CD & DevOps: Familiarity with GitLab, CI/CD, or other similar tools Backend Development: Exposure to REST APIs, backend development, or microservices Cloud & Containerization: Exposure to cloud platforms or containerized application development Please apply with your CV in English so we can get to know you better! #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
