Job Description

The Senior Director, US Marketing role is a brand lead position that will define the overall commercial approach to market, build, and then lead a team that executes launch strategy and initiatives for a new indication for a first in class HER2 targeted bispecific agent in metastatic breast cancer. The Senior Director will sit within the US Oncology Franchise and will report to the Executive Director of Marketing in the Solid Tumor Therapeutic Area. The Senior Director will build out and lead the overall US marketing team and core team, sit on a variety of cross functional launch teams, as well as oversee work on key strategic and tactical projects/workstreams. They will be a key member of the US Oncology Marketing leadership team; and will hire and onboard the marketing team in preparation for an anticipated US launch in 2028. Essential Functions This individual will: Define the strategic plan, commercial strategy, and oversee launch readiness initiatives for an anticipated new indication Lead the development and implementation of the promotional platform (e.g. messaging, campaign, market research initiatives, etc.) Help to develop/communicate a compelling vision and sense of purpose for project teams; assist in formulating long-range and mid-term strategies; demonstrate courage in advancing new, innovative ideas Prioritize, develop, and implement promotional and disease education tactics (including print and digital promotions, peer-to-peer programming, and key customer marketing initiatives) that help establish the value of this anticipated indication with our customers and contribute to achieving annual sales and share targets post launch Select and onboard several key vendors, including a primary ad agency Initially serve as the marketing point-person on cross-functional teams, including the Promotional Material Review Committee (PMRC). This responsibility may be passed on to a Promotions Lead when appropriate. Develop and lead the full go-to-market strategy by partnering with cross-functional field team leadership and members to drive launch planning and execution, leveraging a collaborative account management model; partner with field operations and training teams to develop and execute a comprehensive and effective go to market plan Work with Regional Market Managers (RMMs) to understand the needs of the top institutions, key opinion leaders, and other important healthcare providers to optimize promotional approach, selling tools and educational programming Collaborate with other marketers to ensure an integrated marketing plan for the business unit Collaborate with Market Access team members in developing and communicating key aspects of the product’s value proposition and other attributes to key stakeholders Manage and enhance relationships with many critical functions within the organization, thought leaders, and strategic business partners Demonstrate the ability to quickly understand complex markets, disease states, competitive landscapes and relevant market and
