Commercial Banking Tribe You’ll be joining the Commercial Bank Data Solutions Tribe, who is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank. We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment. Our tribe domain is on a journey of an extensive digitalisation of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. On that we are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape. As a Senior Business Functional Analyst (f/m/x) you will work in our Data Core squad, working with our business colleagues combining and model data to re-usable data products to enable and improve business use cases. -> You love this job but feel you cannot tick 100% of the boxes? Your key responsibilities Requirement Gathering and Analysis : Identifying the full spectrum of business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for the development and implementation of solutions. Create data models, write user stories, and other documentation that support the target audience in understanding the business requirements working in an agile environment. Impact & Technical Analysis: Analyzing and evaluating the effects of planned changes, identify needed data sources, providing the necessary data models and assessing change impacts on systems and. Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Ensure clear understanding of requirements and expected outcomes by collaborating closely with engineering, QA, and data scientists supporting data integration and processing. Stakeholder Alignment:  Facilitate communication and alignment between business divisions, data providers, and data consumers (IT Product Owners, Business, QA, Engineering). Data Governance:  Ensure data consumption is following the guidelines, processes, and best practice, align with data owner and control functions. Your skills and experiences Degree in Business, Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience . Multiple years of relevant job experience as Business Functional Analyst, ideally in the context of agile projects with a bank or similar industry. Familiar with Business Analyst tools and methodologies such as creating diagrams (e.g., Data Flow, Use Case modelling) and Data modelling, writing User Stories in Jira, and documenting in Confluence. Open, empathic personality with strong communication skills that knows how to convince others, set priorities and can implement tasks self-dependently and in high quality. Strong stakeholder management and communication , effectively bridging business and technical teams in English (German a plus). Solid experience with data modelling, data warehousing, and data analytics. Good to have: knowledge with SQL, database technologies, and cloud infrastructure.
