Estimator II

The Estimator plays a critical role in shaping the future success of major EPC projects by leading the development of complex, high-value conceptual estimates and competitive bid strategies. Leveraging deep industry expertise and strong commercial acumen, this position transforms early project concepts into accurate, executable cost models that drive sound business decisions and winning pursuits. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the Estimator serves as a key leader within their assigned service line, providing strategic estimating guidance across targeted industries and markets. This role takes ownership of all aspects of major project pursuits, including RFP analysis, estimate development, proposal strategy, alternative contracting approaches, and risk assessment. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the Estimator helps position the organization for success by identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and delivering compelling, competitive solutions that align with client objectives and company growth goals. Location & Travel Details: Preference for candidates living in the Denver, CO area or Vancouver, WA region. This is can be a hybrid or remote role. Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Prepare accurate quantity surveys and estimates for those divisions of the project as assigned Complete assignments in agreed upon time frame Solicit subcontractor and/or supplier quotations or scheduling input as required for the assignments Participate in plan review and estimate reviews for respective projects Assist in compiling historical cost data for projects Confirm list of subcontractors/suppliers proposing on the project Collaborate with Architects/Engineers to request clarifications or additional information Attend project meetings and perform site investigations as
