Job Summary The Senior Immunology Therapeutic Specialist is an experienced field sales professional responsible for driving territory performance within immunology and rare disease markets. Building on a foundation of specialty sales success, this role requires deeper clinical fluency, more sophisticated account management, and the ability to independently navigate complex customer and access environments to deliver results. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory business plan to consistently achieve or exceed sales goals. Serve as a clinical resource for healthcare professionals on the science, benefits, and appropriate use of Incyte immunology/rare disease products. Build and maintain strong relationships with key specialists, hospitals, infusion centers, and patient advocacy organizations. Lead patient access efforts by partnering with Market Access, Patient Services, and specialty pharmacy to resolve barriers. Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Services to support patient and HCP education. Maintain expert-level knowledge of disease state, product, competitive landscape, and evolving treatment guidelines. Mentor peers and contribute to team best practices and field effectiveness initiatives. Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; life sciences or related field preferred or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or specialty sales experience; immunology or rare disease experience. Demonstrated track record of sustained territory performance and growth in a complex specialty environment. Advanced clinical acumen with the ability to engage specialists in peer-level scientific dialogue. Strong understanding of market access, reimbursement, and patient support pathways. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Willingness to travel within the territory as needed.
Preferred Skills
Experience launching a rare disease or specialty biologic product. Established relationships with immunology or rare disease specialists in the region. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Veeva) and digital sales platforms. Experience working with patient advocacy organizations and IDNs. Adaptability and resilience in a rapidly evolving launch environment.
