This unique Software Engineering Product Manager position is accountable for the Real Estate and Alternatives Asset Management application bundle in FIT (Finance & Investments Technology) BSA, which is one of the most important and visible application sets for our Institutional Investing function under our Chief Investments Officer. It includes a wide variety of applications, including a market leading external facing custom website instrumental to managing our real estate investments portfolio and a SalesForce implementation that facilitates our new deal pipeline for alternative investments. Nationwide Investments as a whole manages all the invested assets of Nationwide, supporting our property and casualty and financial services companies, as well as sub-advising certain fixed income mutual funds and third-party accounts with total Assets Under Management well in excess of $100 billion. This is a very important and visible role with consistent opportunities to make a difference for our most important and critical business functions underpinning the financial strength of our entire enterprise! Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, team/talent development, and leadership rooted in turning key Agile concepts and practices into tangible, frequent delivery for business partners is required. The ideal candidate should have the following experiences and qualifications: Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. Ability to interface with multiple levels of business partners, while influencing without authority. Background in managing multiple IT assets across various technology stacks, working with IRM and I&O partners. Familiar with SRE and Agile practices. Familiar with operational and build metrics. Strong learning agility and ability to learn on the fly. Ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete information. Ability to deliver on tight delivery timeframes. Work Arrangement: This role follows a hybrid schedule and requires in-office presence in Columbus, Ohio two days per week. Location Requirement: Candidates must be based within a commutable distance to Columbus, Ohio. Work Authorization: This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization.
