Project Engineer We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Newmarket, Canada team! As a Project Engineer at the Curtiss-Wright Nuclear Division Newmarket location, you will be responsible for the performance of complex, highly technical projects in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. You will play a vital role within the assigned business segment supporting customer deliverables. You will be responsible for executing customer orders in conformance with customer specifications and industry standards and supporting efforts on larger projects. This position requires interaction with customers, suppliers, operations, quality assurance, sales and finance to support both domestic and international products and services. Location: Newmarket, Canada Salary: $74,600 to $99,500 Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in Ontario. Review and understand a wide variety of customer purchase order, technical specifications, and quality assurance requirements and translate that into design, procurement, qualification and testing documents. Ensure compliance with customer purchasing requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards & regulations. Determine design approaches and parameters for testing and qualifying equipment and systems. Anticipate and mitigate potential failure modes to improve probability of successful results. Lead the project team and regular project meetings to monitor and drive progress toward project objectives. Maintain effective customer & vendor communications, ensuring that all requirements and expectations are addressed effectively. Provide technical input on the generation of proposals for programs. Efficiently and effectively work towards goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple constraints. Address and resolve project issues pertaining to project work scope, technical requirements, quality, schedule, resource assignments, cost, customer interface and other project related activities. What You Bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Two (2) to Four (4) years of related experience, regulated industry experience preferred. Excellent organization and communication (written and oral) skills. Attention to detail is a must. The ability to lead and effectively manage time between multiple orders. Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office experience.
