Lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega applications using Pega Platform Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical solutions Architect scalable and reusable Pega solutions aligned with enterprise standards Provide technical leadership and guidance to Pega developers and project teams Design and implement case management, workflow automation, decisioning, and integrations Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Pega best practices and coding standards Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis Integrate Pega applications with external systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, and messaging services Ensure application performance, security, and maintainability Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile delivery processes Mentor team members and support skill development across the Pega practice Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions Support application deployment, upgrade activities, and production releases Drive continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of new Pega capabilities Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Graduate degree or equivalent experience Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Pega development Solid experience with Pega BPM, Case Management, Decisioning, and Integrations Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Proven solid communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
