What you’ll do: This role is responsible for driving regional business growth, customer satisfaction, and sales execution across the Asia Pacific region. The position leads market development, customer engagement, partner development, and adoption of Exertherm thermal monitoring solutions within targeted industries and critical infrastructure sectors. Primary Responsibilities • Define, plan, and implement the APAC regional sales strategy to meet business objectives. • Drive business development, sales, training, and support activities to grow thermal monitoring solutions. • Create, plan, and implement local sales, go-to-market, and strategic business development initiatives aligned with regional priorities. • Drive achievement of sales targets and implement improvement plans when performance gaps are identified. • Develop annual market development plans aligned to country market needs and the relevant OEM and partner landscape. • Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis to support forecasting and focused plans for segments, solutions, channels, and partners. • Identify and evaluate opportunities with existing and prospective customers, combining the portfolio offering into value-based solutions. • Build and maintain partner networks with OEMs, installers, and service partners, including key decision-maker relationships. • Own strategy development for assigned vertical industries, including segment strategy, growth plan, and sales playbook creation in partnership with the APAC sales team and global marketing. • Engage end users, consultants, and standards committees to present solutions in a technical context and increase awareness and adoption. • Drive sales effectiveness through technical and commercial training, knowledge sharing, and cross-collaboration. • Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for electrical system health and thermal monitoring solutions. Qualifications: Education • Master degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent degree-level experience. Experience • At least 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or technical product marketing. • Experience in technical or commercial marketing and sales into industrial markets, ideally within electrification or power systems. • Experience in heavy industry and/or critical infrastructure markets such as logistics centers, new energy, battery energy storage systems, airports, or hospitals. • Strategic sales planning, regional market development, and business development. • Customer relationship management and value-based solution selling. • Market analysis, forecasting, and competitive assessment. • Channel, OEM, installer, and service partner development. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional relevant regional language capability preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems, ideally HubSpot. • Ability to identify improvement opportunities across own and adjacent functional areas.
