Role Purpose
The MES Operations Lead role will lead an international team of technical resources to be responsible for working with users and IT resources to support standardized Camstar/PAC MES solutions across a global environment. Key Responsibilities
Supervise a distributed, mixed team of contractors and permanent employees Operation Management Manage Incidents and service requests Lead rapid response activities Maintain operation process and incident response documentation Develop standard operating documents and knowledge base articles Coordinate incident escalation Provide continual improvements and definitions Data Archive Monitoring Metric development, tracking, and reporting Operational Support Oversight of 24x7 support and response Identification and response to system/solution issues Perform environment maintenance and related customer communications System monitoring and recovery Perform routine operational monitoring Monitor server performance and initiate action when appropriate Perform root cause analysis Perform deployments and migrations facilitation Maintain the development environment Communications/Collaboration Operations meetings End user customers Monthly operations status updates with key stakeholders Requirements
BS/MS in Computer Science /Systems Management/IT Related field or additional experience my be accepted in lieu of degree Minimum of 3 years Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) experience Minimum of 5 years leadership and project management experience In-depth knowledge of industry best practices in application development Experience working with IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment Ability to work without close supervision Ability to work in a multi-cultural team Ability to work closely with internal customers around the world to meet customer requirements Ability to work individually and on teams to execute projects on time, on budget, and with expected results Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong initiative Self-motivated Accountable for actions/behaviors Desired Skills
