What You'll Do - You'll Make the Moment Creates photography and video that supports Cracker Barrel's business priorities across brand building, menu innovation, value messaging, retail, loyalty, seasonal campaigns, and internal communications. Captures emotionally engaging visual stories that reflect Country Hospitality through food, people, traditions, celebrations, restaurant environments, retail discovery, team member stories, guest moments, and cultural activations. Partners with Brand Strategy, Marketing, Creative, Culinary, Retail, Communications, Operations, agencies, creators, and external partners to translate campaign strategies into compelling visual content. Develops visual concepts, creative treatments, shot lists, and content approaches that align with campaign objectives, business goals, and channel needs. Photographs and films food, beverages, retail merchandise, restaurant environments, hospitality rituals, lifestyle moments, leadership events, restaurant openings, community initiatives, and other brand moments as needed. Collaborates with chefs, food stylists, prop stylists, talent, agencies, production crews, and external partners to execute photo and video work that meets creative and brand standards. Creates adaptable content for paid, owned, earned, social, CRM, PR, retail, e-commerce, menu, in-store, and digital channels, including modular content libraries that maximize the value of each shoot. Supports creator marketing, earned media, cultural partnerships, seasonal moments, music, travel, sports, community engagement, and real-time storytelling opportunities that strengthen Cracker Barrel's cultural relevance. Performs photo editing, retouching, color correction, image optimization, asset preparation, video editing, color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, captioning, formatting, and final delivery for print and digital applications. Maintains a consistent visual language that reinforces Cracker Barrel's distinctive brand assets, including hospitality, front porch culture, signature menu items, seasonal traditions, retail discovery, and everyday celebrations. Incorporates stakeholder feedback while maintaining creative excellence, strong storytelling, and brand consistency. Maintains cameras, lighting, audio, studio equipment, production gear, and asset management systems while recommending investments that improve creative capabilities. Stays current on emerging creative technologies, photography and videography trends, creator platforms, AI-enabled production tools, and evolving content formats to continually elevate Cracker Barrel's creative output. Manages multiple concurrent projects while consistently delivering high-quality work on aggressive timelines. Bachelor's degree in Photography, Film, Visual Communications, Advertising, Creative Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of professional photography and videography experience, preferably supporting nationally recognized consumer brands. Experience creating food, hospitality, retail, lifestyle, advertising, social, and digital content. Strong portfolio demonstrating brand storytelling across photography and motion. Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Capture One. Experience using Canon camera systems and professional cinema equipment preferred. Experience working with creative agencies, production companies, creators, and external production partners.
