Fleet Maintenance Supervisor (Night Shift) Keep Our Fleet Moving. Lead a Team. Drive Operational Excellence. As our Fleet Maintenance Supervisor , you'll play a critical role in ensuring our fleet of vehicles and ground support equipment remains safe, reliable, and ready to support operations every day. You'll lead a team of skilled mechanics, partner with vendors, drive preventive maintenance strategies, and make a direct impact on operational performance and costs. What You'll Do 🚚 Keep the Fleet Running Oversee preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Monitor repairs, vehicle inspections, and maintenance activities to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Identify root causes of mechanical issues and coordinate effective solutions. 🔧 Lead and Develop a Skilled Team Supervise and support a team of automotive mechanics. Coach, mentor, and develop employees through training and performance management. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. 📊 Drive Efficiency and Cost Savings Analyze maintenance trends, equipment performance, and operating expenses. Manage maintenance budgets and approve fleet-related expenditures. Develop initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. 🤝 Partner Across the Business Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. Manage inventory levels for parts, tires, and critical supplies. Conduct facility and equipment audits to ensure compliance and operational readiness. ✅ Champion Safety and Compliance Ensure adherence to all safety, regulatory, and maintenance standards. Support a proactive maintenance culture focused on preventing issues before they occur.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience 3-5+ years of progressive leadership experience in fleet maintenance, automotive operations, or a related industry. Proven experience leading teams and driving operational results. Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair processes. Key Skills Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting expertise. Ability to manage maintenance programs, asset performance, and vendor partnerships. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Experience analyzing operational data and implementing improvements. Schedule Requirements 📅 Monday through Friday, with flexibility to support business needs during peak periods and operational events. 🌙 This position supports a 3rd shift operation , with a typical start time of 10:00 PM and 10-hour shifts . 📍 Must live within the local area.
